I believe in storytelling first

Hello friends!

And then, before you knew it, autumn had descended! It will be 2026 before we know it!

It’s been a busy stretch here: in September, I performed at the Fulton Theatre in a production of Driving Miss Daisy. It was a successful run and audiences seemed ot really enjoy it. I was glad to be back at such great place.

For those keeping a close eye out, you might have spotted me in episode three of TASK on HBO, which just wrapped up its season run. I had a small role (that got even smaller when my lines were cut in the final edit) but you can still see a glimpse of my face. Still cool to be up there.

I just returned from the Austin Film Festival, where my screenplay, SLUMBER, placed in the Second Round and I got the chance to meet so many great writers and artists. It was inspiring and Im hopeful about generating more film projects in the future. (And I managed to be a finalist in the live pitch competition while I was down there. Pretty fun!)

SLUMBER was also named a finalist in the HP Lovecraft Screenplay Competition, a Semi Finalist in the Dark Matter Screenplay Competition and a Semi-Finalist in the Screamfest Screenplay Competition! Grateful for all the attention its received of late! Lemme know if you’d like to give it a read!

We wrapped production on our short film, THE SUNSHINE and it’s currently in “post” as we say. More details on that to come soon!

On the Cult Pulp Press front, the next novelization project is completed and is working its way through the editing process. Keep your eyes open for that!

And speaking of, on November 3rd, I’ll be doing my first public reading from Billy the Kid vs Dracula at an authors’ event, being hosted by Hedgerow Theatre, just outside Philly. Check it out if you can!

If you’re interested in checking the books out, you can message me here or look us up on Instagram, @CultPulpPress.

When Doves Podcast was on a summer break that stretched into fall, but we are back in the swing of it. The link to the pod is below!

That’s it for now. Thanks for listening. Thanks for understanding (to quote my favorite band, The Hold Steady)

Stay safe and healthy!
